I do not wish to violate the rules. I have not done most of the issues you brought up but I may have pushed the envelope some, on one maby two. The comments of some, regarding alleged cheaters, bother me not. Should they challange a hit attributed to my efforts -- no problem, I can fix. However the delete button controled by the webmaster in the sky -- that could be a problem.
The bulk of the bills I post come from customers at my store. The ordinary course of business has me giving out marked bills as change and requires that some of the bills be deposited in my bank. To date the bank has not challenged me on the marked bills.
I do spend some of the bills to purchase goods for my store.
Last week a neighbor moved to Wisconson. She gave me a check in exchange for cash spending money on the drive there. I also gave as a gift to her childern a $2.00 bill to each. Guess what, good bet that by her, some of those bills will at some point become a hit. Am I in breach of the guidlines by delibertly seeing to it that I use posted and marked bills, knowing full well that unspent bills could be posted by her?. My logic indicates that as one who enjoys this game, that I would give her marked bills in lieu of unmarked, unposted bills. Little of my normal behavior in the movement of funds is different than said behavior pre-Wheresgeorge.
However, having said that I do exhibit additional alertness to opportunities to get marked bills out there. Wonder if any of my young relatives will get a marked bill for christmas. I may not have added that little extra to the christmas list if I were not interested in having fun with WheresGeroge. I enjoy this activity and find the movement of bills interesting, even when they are not the ones I posted. To give the activity a push I will on occasion point out the mark and tell them that if they go up on the site they can post the bill and then follow it as others post it.
I am aware and do appreciate the effort you exhibit in keeping the site up as well as keeping us players within reasonable boundries.
