Hello All!
I've been unofficially contacted by an unnamed U.S. government agency. They notified me that they have acquired several Where's George? stamped bills. These bills in question have been stamped many many times, obscuring the serial numbers and generally rendering the bills unfit to be re-issued. In one case, the corners of the bill were cut off (it is unclear of a WG person did that). They said that stamping in this manner is "not good" and "stamping the money only once would be preferable and adequate."
PLEASE ONLY STAMP YOUR CURRENCY ONCE, OTHERWISE WE RISK SOME ACTION BY THIS AGENCY. I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER OR NOT THEY MEANT STAMPING ONLY ONCE, OR ONCE ON EACH SIDE - YOU BE THE JUDGE.
ALSO, PLEASE DON'T EMAIL ASKING IF I HAVE ANY MORE INFORMATION OR WHO CONTACTED ME. I DO NOT KNOW ANY MORE THAN WHAT I STATED ABOVE.
