It combines the number of hits and the percent hit rate into one number. Read these (see link at botton) for more info. But to summarize: just because your hit rate drops today doesn't mean it won't go back to its normal level tomorrow. You can only get more points if you enter more bills and take a loss today so you can gain more the next day. : : : as per people faking bills entered and hits, that is the job of the web site management to watch out for. so to say a ranking system would cause people to fake entries is not o good enough excuse to use for rating systems. : : : : As soon as this web site becomes too much of a pain in the butt for Hank, he will close it down. I think he's done a good job maintaining the site, responding to our comments and suggestions, and especially keeping the data legitimate. If he has to filter through even more data, it'll probably drive him nuts. If rank is based on the number of bills entered, people would be more inclined to come and enter all the fake serial numbers that they want.
