The few that I have had the opportunity to meet certainly are great people.
As far as anyone showing up to see me off on my 26.2 mile journey, it would be nice but I certainly don't expect that. What would be way more fun for me is having people there as I'm finishing this monster! I really have no idea when I'm going to finish, but I hope it won't take more than 4 & 1/2 hours. So maybe around 1:30 I'll be finishing up, wish I could better pinpoint the time but I've never done one as difficult as this and really don't know what to expect. I do know this much, there is no way I'm finishing a marathon & not having at least one beer! I suppose I could have that over at the race site so as not to bring any troubles onto the Gathering. See you next month!!
