It was the TIGER one I guess..the map on top. I wouldnt have to do all 15,000+ hits, just each town. Guess the biggest thing is how did you find the coordinates? When I return from my geocaching picinic/mini vacation I will look more into it. It would juts be another thing for me to do.
I do keep my list of towns in each state with how many hits in each town on file...but have it printed out for my notebook. NO SPREADSHEET I tried it and it was not pretty. A few have seen my notebook and the look om their face tells me I am crazy. As for miles I write down each hit on a paper and when I have a few pages of numbers to add...I add away. Not that long ago my file was lost but since I had a written/printed copy I now am re-entering everything. Takes forever but when it is done..I feel I have finished something that most would have quit doing long ago.
What I would love to do is have a map of the USA and place pins in each state. Place it on my wall. Problem is that most maps will leave out a lot of towns. Who knows, maybe it will be a project I will do years from now. Each pin can have a small tag with the town name. 50 years from now when the Wheresgeorge Museum it might make a nice display.
Peace and Have Fun!!!!
