Hello fellow Georgers! I have been spedning George dollars in and around DuBois Pa for aprox 1 year now and had a strange experience two days ago. I spend three or four George dollars at The Sheetz store at the corner of Rt 219, Brady St & Park Ave in Dubois per month. I try not to drop too many George dollars at any one location very frequently. I spread them around. Anyway, when I spent three Georges at this Sheetz two days ago, the person who waited on me said, "We had a meeting a couple of days ago and 'The Boss' said that we have to get the name and phone number of anyone who pays with one of these kinds of dollars. We aren't supposed to take very many of these. They want us to stop taking them and we will not be giving them to other customers any more." She went on to say that "All of the Sheetz stores will stop taking these soon." I was in a hurry and there were aprox 15 people in line behind me so I didn't debate it at all nor did I ask any questions. I did give her my name and phone number and said that the "Boss" was welcome to call me anytime and I would try to help out. I also asked her to call me if they get any more George dollars soon and I would buy them. She had a piece of paper in the register that had "People spending marked bills" written on it. She worte my info down on that (which is probably some sort of violation of my civil rights - but whatever, I don't want any trouble as I'm just having fun Georgeing!) I have since went to The Sheetz Store at I-80, Rt 219 & Rt 830 and spent five Georges with no problem at all. I'm really not sure what to think about this, but I'll probably avoid the Sheetz on Brady St for a little while. Any thoughts?
