that when you generate the map for the very first time you must use the default color scheme. Then after the first time you can change it. If you remember, did you set your own color scheme the very first time you generated the map? Or did you use the default? Do you remember the sequence of events that lead to the all black map? I'm just curious in case it happens to someone else.
