I got my first series change to a 2003, and of corse, no hit on the bill. I'm not exactly sure when it happened, because I don't have access to my E-Mail, but I just noticed it this morning. I went to search for it using the search function on my YB page, and I realized, there was no selection for a series 2003 in it. Luckily, the bill that was changed (linked below) was entered within the last 250 bills that I've entered, and it was fairly easy to find. Kinda' stinks that I missed out on a hit because of this.
Hank, if you read this, could you please change the bill back to whatever series it was before, and a suggestion for future 2003 series bills that will be entered the remainder of the year, or atleast until the series becomes more abundant; whenever someone enters a 2003 seies, there should be a second page asking them if they are certain if the bill is a 2003, and explain to them how to determine the series of the bill. Since most of the people who come here to enter bills are new users, this could be a feature to be turned off for existing users, or those with acounts. Something like a check box in the user preferences page to allow one to enter 2003 bills without getting this message. This would, I think root out about 99.9% of all misentered 2003 bills, and allow only those who understand how a bill series works, to enter them freely.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this idea?
