You have made several changes in Where’s George in the last several months. Like the time (-5, -6 ect) showing on the bill report. Adding a refresh button to the Your Hits By State area. Very nice to have and it dresses up the site.

BUT this time you have out done yourself. I just got done entering in several hundred bills and did not have to sort them by date because:

HANK SAYS
If you are entering any "New" Style bills (series 1996, 1999, 2001, or any future series), you do not have to select the proper series on the entry page - the system will automatically set the correct series based on the first character of the serial number. In addition, if someone does select the incorrect series based on the serial number, the system will silently correct the series entered by the user, and use the serial number to override it.

HANK, I don’t think people realize yet what you have done for them. With this change there is no more correlating of new series bills. The time saved in sorting and entering will be enormous. I just got done entering $6,000 in 20,s 10,s and 5,s and I’m flabbergasted. What a nice addition this feature is to the where’s George board.

A big pat on the back for a job well done. Thank you.

PS: I went out of my way to mix up new style, old style and star notes as I entered bills. The data base gulped them all down without a hicup and was ready for more.
