In addition, if someone does select the incorrect series based on the serial number, the system will silently correct the series entered by the user, and use the serial number to override it.

: Second, when entering "New" style bills, you can enter the three letters first, then the eight numerical digits.. so if the serial number is "AB 12345678 C", you can enter it as "ABC12345678" and the system will correct it for you. I think this may make entering bills a little easier.
