When someone tries to post a serial number, it is set up to replace three of the numbers with dashes to prevent false hits. If the link has a letter followed by eight numbers and another letter, the forum filters think it is a serial number and put dashes in place of three numbers. The only way to get around it is to put the link in the optional link box.
