Just curious to know how people handle the nastier bills they find. I just bought a strap of fives from the bank and several of them are in really bad shape.
My thoughts are, if I stamp this ratty bill that's been ripped and taped, the person who may come and enter it will perhaps expect to find a long history of where the bill's been, only to find no significant history. Or maybe they'll think that I or someone associated with the site was responsible for all the tape on the bill? Probably not....
Anyway, I imagine getting a better hit rate or increasing a bill's longevity would be the primary influence on everyone's answer to this question. As far as that goes, I don't care about hit RATE at all. I just care about getting MORE hits. Used bills like this may get me one more hit!
