First of all, please (re)read the User Guidelines - note especially #2. It says that everyone must enter-mark-spend in that order. No other variation is allowed. Basically, EMS is not just a suggestion or a matter of personal preference - it is a REQUIREMENT. Everyone MUST follow that rule.
I have seen people who have said they only do it occasionally - that makes no difference! It is just not allowed - EVER! Also, others have said it "works for me." Um, what if I decide that driving on the wrong side of the highway "works for me." What about what works for the site? Amazingly, some even say that they never make the mistake of using a marked, unentered bill! That statement is nothing more than sheer arrogance. I have yet to meet a single perfect person - everyone makes mistakes. You certainly can't argue that it "just doesn't happen" either, as I have found a few marked-and-unentered bills myself. Finally, saying that it is "not a big problem anyway" is easy enough to say when you aren't the one getting the dozens of emails about a lack of bill history, but it is just a statement of total ignorance.
Hank has made this fun, enjoyable site for us. The least we can do is follow the rules he established. Is it really that difficult?!?!
