Mixed messages on the Series 2003 $20

As has already been mentioned on the forum, last week's issue of Coin World said that the BEP is not planning to print any Series 2003 $20's; they're going to change directly from Series 2001 to Series 2004.

But this week's issue of Numismatic News has the BEP saying that they'll print every denomination but the $2 as Series 2003 before the end of this calendar year, *and* that there'll be enough Series 2003 $20's printed that they won't be scarce.

I'm not sure what to make of this. Maybe the plans have changed, or maybe somebody's sources aren't as reliable as they think, or maybe it's all a vast government conspiracy to confound and confuse counterfeiters. But I thought y'all'd like to know the latest....
