Such a basic little thing. "General discussion about WheresGeorge?".
While Ralphie-Boy was well intentioned, this was not the forum for that post. This was pointed out to him politely as far as I can tell, yet when that is done, suddenly we're "rude" and "Insulting". How do you make that kind of a leap in logic? This leads to a larger concern. The behavior of some people in the Mid-west and Western forums and their seemingly endless whining about the people in the main forum. It seems to be nothing more than an attempt at diviciveness at times. A neverending parade to drive a wedge in the George community. Fine! Here's some back at ya!
Nary a word is said in the NE or the SE forums about the bad, bad people in the main forum, yet anytime I wander into the midwest or western, it never fails that there's a post(or many) about the meanies in the main. Someone has the temerity to politely correct one of you, and suddenly a string of invectives is unleashed back in the forums in question. We're "narrow minded", "assholes", "insufferable" and on and on and on. Meanwhile, out west, everything is sunhine and lollipops. "We're the good ones" is constantly proclaimed throughout the land. Quite frankly it gives me the creeps sometimes. It's like a group you might find in some spooky Twilight Zone episode. It's a land where they seem to wear their cheating like a badge. It was bad enough that Hank called a few of them out on it, yet they continue on, blissfully unaware, gleefully proclaiming "make sure you bring your bills for trading to the next gathering". Is it something in the water? Maybe it is since you don't seem to mind dumping pollution into it. Are you people NEVER capable of doing anything wrong. I don't believe I've ever seen the simple statement, "I'm sorry, it was wrong to post that here". It's always our fault when someone gets the urge to post something that doesn't belong in this forum.
Maybe it's time you all considered acting like this is the nationwide community this is supposed to be, and stopped trying to drive a wedge between us all. Time to grow up and stop acting like children(been there, done that).
