The link does exist, if the user chooses the correct option on the Four Choice Error Correction System (4CECS).
I think when Hank makes time to re-write the code, he may change the 2 step process into a 1 step process.
My personal opinion is:
1) most errors seem to come from unregistered one-time users
2) the user does not take the time to initially enter the bill in correctly (changing a valid bill's denomination/series)
3) the user does take the time to select the correct option on the Four Choice Error Correction System (4CECS) (should be option # 2
4) the user does not complete the second step of a two step entry process
I don't know what's better or worse: having a bill with two incorrect entries or having a bill with one incorrect initial entry and no second entry? However, with the new bill change notification, if notified, we can adjust the incorrect changes. *smile* Allowing users to correctly change bills outweighs the fewer times a user incorrectly changes bills. Sorry for the inconvenience.
