Since many Georgers Know who are the other Georgers in their families, maybe Hank can set up something where we can enter the bill but not worry about having it added to the scores. Like and ENTER SCORELESS BILL HERE icon. For me I am only slightly interested in my rankings mostly in my state but it wouldn't effect me from georging if they took away the scores. My major goal is to get all 50 since I already have 6 FRB Bingo's and Have entered all denominations and series except 1966. Just my rambling Idea.

Thanks for listening

: Been thinking of suggesting some form of this idea for some time, and this looks like a good place to bring it up, even though my vision of it isn't totally precise (maybe others can chip in as well). Here's sort of a quick version (add seasoning to taste; simmer until done).

: The idea is that user A could specify a list of users "B" such that user B is "not allowed" to hit his bills (B would get some sort of gentle message). This might be done under user preferences, perhaps using the URL to a red check mark for profile or anon-email as the method of specifying user B (in IE, right-click and "Copy Shortcut" to get the URL for pasting next; I presume it's similarly easy in Netscape).

: This way, accidents between, say, husband and wife could be avoided (E interrupted before M, and the other tries to E it); and one could also put in users like the owner of that pesky gas station that always hits the bills you spend there. If one of my friends ever hits money I gave them, I would add them (for example); however, it seems (*sigh*) that I only know normal people, and can't inspire any of them to take up Georging :-)

: What I had had in mind was that this would be voluntary, but it could also work with Hank-added blocks... the user could remove his own blocks but not Hank's.

: With the new functionality, I'm thinking that also perhaps B could be prompted to see if they wanted to add the bill to their favorites and track it, even though not allowed to hit it.

: My thinking is that only the preceding entry need be checked against the block list, but it could work either way (by checking all preceding entries).

: The purpose of this is to avoid accidents; it won't stop outright hit swapping, of course (except by Hank-added blocks).

: Cheers,
: Stan
