Hello Urban Legend followers.

I have seen in the past the some amoung us believe that the feds are pulling all old $20 bills. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Walked into a bank yesterday made a withdrawal, teller pulled up a strap of used and mixed 20's from the bottom safe, still in the paper band from the San Francisco area FRB. There on top was an old 20. I asked the teller, "hey I thought the feds were pulling all the old 20's." Her reply was, "No, they still recycle them till they are worn out." I asked why I don't see them anymore? She replied, "People are starting to hoard them. In about 3-5 years, you'll see a bunch of them on E-bay." She also said that sometimes a little old lady, or other gullible person, will bring in a bunch and ask to trade it for "real" money, because these are "out-dated" or, no good any more.

Just trying my best to dispell another URBAN LEGEND.
