Sometimes, I don’t understand that statement.
Excerpt from my above post, that I repeat:
: 1) Hank gets busy and does not have time to carefully read every post. He appreciates other Georgers to assist politely. Just because he does not directly address your procedure, does not make it correct.
I even follow-up with an example to Hank’s previous post.
And even when Hank’s post is in the same thread as hers:
NO! No exceptions to the rules.. period. NT
You would think that because Hank’s post did not include her name or she did not receive a personal e-mail from Hank that it still does not apply to her.
But some people still act as though ‘they just don’t *get* it’.
So, I guess the best we can do is keep reminding them. “Luke, Come over to the dark side of WG” *laugh* Hank, we try our best to reduce the amount of *potential* extra work for you. I love this site.
Also, I’m impressed that you *all* have found time to read and post some 5 days later (currently 5 pages past). Perhaps, someone should notify Wolf of Hank’s post here (either via current page post or e-mail). But because Hank did not *explicitly* inform Wolf to discontinue her improper procedure, it might not apply to her *laugh*.
And goodness knows, we all know that you get busy Hank and that you don’t have time to address each guideline breaker. I would never want WG to get to a point where other Georgers have to waste your time with: “Hey, Hank… There’s a blatant rule breaker. I think you need to *explicitly* contact the offender” *laugh*
Wolf, should you read this in the future, my intent was not to single you out. There have been others before you, and I expect there will be more to follow. We all make mistakes (Goodness, knows I have… just check back in the forums). The difference is, when a person learns from their mistakes, they can change their ways. “I said my way was what worked BEST for ME” and “So I think I'll do like him and never mention how I do what works for me again.” is not a solution. It could create problems for the webmaster, Hank. If you don’t like the rules, then don’t play. Personally, I would like you to stay. There are so few rules here at WG. *smile*
