You would be amazed at the number of people that commute to Chicago from the suburbs every day!
If you spent your Georges at the tourest spots, the coffee shops, pizza shops and restraunts near the downtown area then most likely they all ended up in the hands of tourist or someone who lives in the 'burbs.
: Usually when I take bills places they get hit, although some regions get more hits than others. For example, I went to Chicago for three weeks in February and spent lots of marked bills (and entered, marked and spent new bills) and it took weeks to get a hit. I finally have about 10 or so hits in Illinois from all those bills. During this Chicago trip, I left for a weekend to visit a friend in Bloomington, Indiana (a college town). I spent two nights there and spent about 20-25 marked one dollar bills. Within two weeks, I had about eleven hits in Bloomington! There I was back in Chicago waiting for a Chicago hit from the 100+ bills I spent and I was getting hits like crazy in Bloomington. Go figure!
