Has this happened to you? You personally have visited another state and spent Georges; however Georges have not been entered there.
Last October I entered and spent 14 Georges in Washington, DC. None have shown up as of yet. I still need Washington, DC for my hit map.
Pigeon George is a term that I came up with. ‘Pigeon George’ – is 1) George that I enter at home and take to a location where I do not have a hit or 2) George that I enter and spend at a location where I do not have a hit. Then the George returns home for its first hit.
In August / September 2001, I took a trip to Europe. I entered 200 Georges in Arnhem, Holland. I visited and spent Georges in England, Wales, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. No hits overseas. My Dutch Pigeon Georges have returned from Holland to receive hits here in the states (All on the North East Coast – Most in MAss). Probably, because there is no direct access from the WG Bill Entry Page to
ZIP codes of Foreign Countries by Lance.
In June 2001, I entered 200 Georges at home and spent them in Miami, FL, and Aruba, (Dutch West Indies). No hits in Miami or Aruba. Huhhhh?
Before Where’s George, in my past jobs, I carried a laptop on trips (business and vacation); but not anymore. Now, once or twice a year, I travel overseas. Fortunately, my friends have inter-net access. I don’t want to carry my antique laptop anymore. (smile)
I hope you have better success than I have had in the past. I hope you get some hits in the states that you have not hits, when you spend Georges in the states that you have no hits.
