Yes, there is a difference between making a deposit and buying a money order. However, the result is the same - a large quantity of marked bills is placed in a bank. This could result in the bank making a complaint to the Secret Service, which would bring undue attention to WheresGeorge. That isn't a Good Thing.

Keep marked bills away from banks, even if you are not depositing them. If you do business in any way with a bank - don't use Georged bills.

Don't pick nits.
