Subject: Commentary on Friends of George reporting

Today is the final day of my free trial of F of G. The additional reports and info were interesting but not compelling enough at this time for me to write out a check. I have about 750 Georges (and Abes, Toms, etc.) out there now with 56 hits. 48 of those hits are in FL and of those, about 40 are in Jax or neighboring counties. So my US map has a lot of white space; even a FL map would look pretty blank. A county map by Zip would be helpful!
My point is that, in this early stage of my Georging career, such graphics are not only less-than-helpful, they can be discouraging if you look at them everyday and see no change. Yesterday was my best single hit day so far; I got 3 hits: 1 was a second hit (only my second 2-hitter), and 1 was from MI, and another local. So, even on my best day, the increased refresh rate went unused.
I will probably join in the future when my hit glass is about half-full rather than almost empty. Sooner, if there were an option like -- upon completing the free trial, an offer was available to be F of G one day per month for a year. Toy with the idea, Hank. That's only 12 days per year, could be the same day for all enrollees or a different day based on name of georgiversary or whatever. If you want limitations, it could be one subscription per lifetime or only available to first year Georgers.

(It's so easy to come up with ideas that mean work for somebody else, isn't it?)
