I recently visited a local Mc.Donalds a couple times during the last couple weeks. Each time I payed using Georged bills, and each time the cashier put a check mark on the bill, then placed it at the bottom of the till. The first couple times I just shrugged it off, but then I decided to ask the third time this happened. I was told that they send all "defaced" bills to the bank to have them destroyed. I told them that it wasn't defaced, and I even gave them a couple of the Where's George Information cards. The employees gave me a disgusted look, and told me to move along.
This may just be a local thing. But I have since decided that I am boycotting Mc.Donalds.
Take a close look at the places that you spend your Georged bills at. See if they do anything out of the ordinary with the bills.
I have not noticed this problem anyplace else. As a matter of fact the employees at the local Taco Bell and Taco Time's, usually make an effort to enter Georged bills.
Be aware of who your friends and foes are.
