: I agree with everything Hank said re: look at me posts but with one caveat (that comes from my being a relatively new wheresgeorger) .... It's not that straightforward to tell what should not be posted where. Perhaps a link to brief description of the most egregious problems could be placed under the heading 1. Post your messages to the appropriate forums with a warning to read it before your first post? Or perhaps the public forum could be renamed to more specifically represent its mission? : Of course, I'm a relatively new georger so perhaps my opinion lacks the proper perspective. : John : : : : Because these inane "Look at my Profile" posts have almost nothing to do with WG, and more to do with people's egos. I don't mind people doing creative things with their profiles, but I don't want the "Main" public forum totally cluttered up with that garbage. Move it to the Lost Georger or Hit Celebration forum. I also don't want to start seeing people posting messages here that don't add to the discussion, but are loosely vailed attempts to get people to look at your profile. : : -Hank
