1. Enter serial number. If chickens, ducks, pigs, etc, are to be used as barter media, they will have to be individually identified. To do this, they will each have to be tagged with a serial number or something.

2. Stamp bills (beaks, snouts, whatever).

3. Spend. To pay for your next car, sell your farm. All those stamped bills (beaks, snouts, whatever) could by you a nice Caddie!
