Several times a day someone will be told their check isn't accepted (not in-state) or that we do not double coupons over 50¢ ("But the ad says you do!" "Ummmm, the ad SAYS it's for a few specific stores, and this one isn't listed") and then insist that "You should have @!#$^ sign posted with that information!" Do people not realize that if we posted a policy sign every single time they asked for one there would be literally no more room left on the front door? Some things are simply common sense - for example, nobody with a brain would ever assume that their check will simply be accepted everywhere - that's why we have Customer Service, so that you can come there and ask. Although, I think I would like to put up a "CUSTOMER SERVICE IS *NOT* A CHECKOUT REGISTER!!!!" sign, considering the number of people who don't understand that.
