If a traffic copy stops you for a violation and asks you an "innocent" question like "Do you know why I stopped you?", don't answer "Yeah, I didn't stop at the stop sign" or "Yeah, I was doing 65 in a 55 zone" etc. because you've just admitted what you did wrong! He can put your admission in his notes and show them at a hearing, if you request one.
: Ok, it was for rolling thru a stop sign a block from my house, but it was my first encounter with the police for any moving violation. Thankfully he only issued a warning after I apologized profusely for my mistake.
: Wanna bet I would have been issed a ticket had I been beligerent and been a non-resident?
: How many Georges does it run for a moving violation these days?
