"question of the day" is temporarily set aside.
Why is plagiarism so rampant, and accepted, these days?
I make no claim to "question of the day" being an original thought. It has been used for years, with the generic form being questions of knowledge.
But the manner I have chosen to use, with the style of questions I'm using, I do consider original, at least in here. I can, of course, live with similiar endeavours, even another "question of the day", as long as the concept has been altered. But to see "Question of the week" pop up, using virtually the exact same style of questions? Am I to feel flattered? NO! Should I feel ripped off? Yes!
I was planning on letting it slide for the most part. Oh sure, the occasional comment now and then, but I wasn't going to pitch a fit about it...till the same thing happened to Biagio!
A joke of the day is, again, hardly an original concept, but his title is, at least in here. It sounds like a Readers Digest title, but in here, he's the one using it.
To see someone use the EXACT same title is astounding! Wait, let me guess....he was an hour late, so it became public domain? I THINK NOT!!
Speaking to the plagiarizers, I'm sorry if creating an original thought or concept is such a difficult thing for you to do, but that hardly gives you the right to steal from others.
