In your User CP...but they are restrictive in size...if you use your pic from your WG profile you will have to size that down!
But I'm workin on it

I wish I knew how to make it smaller without cropping it.

Well, that would be a poor assumption. I haven't any idea how to even begin to do anything of that nature.

Going to give this a shot ...
Nope, can't do it. I had a picture, but it's on my computer, not a website, and when I click the little insert picture button, it insists on a url. Lovely. I just love this new forum.

You couldn't have done it that way on the old format, either. You have to find a hosting service if you want to upload your own images to post in messages...Email the image to me and I'll hook you up if you'd like.

I plan to change my pic often. As we speak I'm going through my DVD collection for some scenes to get screen captues from.

Use the pierced bellybutton one! I'll resize it if you like if you'll resend it....then upload or use the WG image hosting.

Ya know, I think this forum might work once we become accustomed to it...I hope that Hank has added to his disk farm 'cause pictures seem to be much easier to do than before.

Since you now have a picture you must have figured it out... But in case you did it from online, here's how you can do it from your computer. That's how my little penguin got on here. He'll be my avatar till I figure out something else that I want to do!
Anyway, there are two lines in the Avatar area, one is for a URL and the other has a "browse" button next to it. If you select the browse button, it's just like the browse feature in windows programs. It will let you browse your pc till you find the file name you want. Click on the file name when you find it, and it will insert the path in the box to the left of it and upload your pic to be stored online.

No, that's MY avatar. I had a picture on my computer for IB that he could use (well, it was kind of a joke, but anyway), but I guess I'll have to use some of my WG hosting space for it -- which doesn't work real well with this format. I've been using the four spots I get with FoG and posting pictures, and then when the post is a page or two back, I change it back to whatever it was. But now I can't count on anything falling off the front page.
Well, here it is, but I take no responsibility if it turns into something else in a day or two! (lol)

The avatars are good for a theme for a week or so.
As an example as of this posting I am using "The Thing" from Fantastic Four.
As your avatar changes, it gets changed on all the posts you have already made. I may go back to a picture of myself or some other theme.
Be careful you may comment on an avatar that isn't there anymore.
