Plum Blossom Retirement Home reenacts "The Seven Samurai". Unfortunately, due to the age of the "actors", the entertainment director made them use croquet sticks instead of swords.

It is a little known fact that the Chinese celebrate Groundhog Day on February first. It is their tradition that if Puxatawney Phil sees his shadow, they whack him with mallets. The first outsider to observe this ritual was a Mexican man named Jose Pinata, who later decided that when an animal is whacked with a mallet, it should spew forth candy and small trinkets.

:D

Remember, there are no dumb questions. Just stupid people making inquiries.
