View Full Version : Prayers Needed Please....

Normally I would not post such intimate information about myself and upon questioning myself whether I should post this or not, I had to ask myself, which is more important, my own pride or prayer?

My husband is ill. He has a condition that he has had for a couple of years and it was maintainable. Friday he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and this other condition has advanced some also. There is talk about him not being able to work anymore etc..

I have slowly been moving into a caretaker position for some time now but it is coming at a fast pace. I have a teenager, a ill husband and am now looking at being the sole breadwinner.

This morning the engine light came on in the car and the car has already cost $1000.00 this month in repairs. My instinct is to drive the car over a cliff but instead will call the car repair shop when they open.

I am having some surgery done next monday and am worried about who is going to care for my family while I am out of commission.

I guess in short I am saying, I NEED PRAYER.

Please pray that I get organized and can take over the bills and learn how to cook properly for my husband;s new diet and can juggle the demands of a teenager and a household properly. Please pray also that the surgery ( gallbladder) goes well for me next week.

Thank you.

And you have prayers. You will be added to my prayers. Though it seems like a huge task, it doesn't need to be. God will be there to help and will never leave you. Have your teenager help learn how to cook with you. Nothing like laughing over mistakes to make things look a little better!

You have my prayers. A year ago I joined a yahoo group called Flylady. You get emails every day to help you organize your life in only 15 minutes at a time. You also get a testimonial everyday about how someone was so overwhelmed and with these reminders they are now out from under the pile. Some day when you are feeling better after your surgery, you could check it out. It was a ray of sunshine for me!

Thanks to all who prayed for me. I just got home. I had to spend the night because they accidently hit a blood vessel when removing my gallbladder. I am happy it is over and my Mom stayed with me in the hospital and will stay with me the next two nights. I am feeling very blessed that it was something that was fixable and in some pain but appreciate my WG family so much and all your prayers.

Please let me know how I can pray for you!

God Bless,
Lisa

You have my prayers as well. Things will work out for you, I just know they will. In the meantime, with our prayers and your strength, you will get through.

Glad to hear everything is OK
