I have no charity for you to give to, I'd just like to say that in these difficult economic times charities are hit hard as donations drop off, please consider donating money or at least time if you can.

No matter what worth while cause a person belongs to or supports. To them and to many others it is important.

My family supports a few Non-profit organizations with monetary donations. But just as important and maybe more important my family supports a couple more non-profit organizatyions by volunteering our time. Sometimes its only a couple minutes a week and sometimes its 20-30 hours a month.

I look forward to reading what everyone is involved in, I may not support the same cause but trust me when I say I will never FLAME you because of what you are supporting..

Good points I think this should be a no flaming others type of forum for there causes.

And of course I have to put in my plug for Operation Doomer, which is nice because you can donate to pretty much anything you want and still be involved with that project. It's got its own forum here, so stop on by some time. Most of us donate to cancer charities that mean something to us personally, but there have been lots of other charities that people have honored with their donations.

And there's always donating your time ... summer's always a good time to do a short-term volunteer project! :)
